Privacy Policy – My Apps

Thank you for using my apps! This privacy policy applies to all mobile applications created by Jayesh Dhanesha. I take your privacy very seriously and collect only the minimum data needed for each app to work properly.
1. General Principle
I do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, physical address, or contacts. I do not "link" the technical data I collect to your real-world identity.
2. Data Collected for Functionality & Analytics
To ensure my apps are reliable and to provide the features you purchased, the following data is collected (Not Linked to Your Identity):
- Identifiers: Anonymous User IDs and Device IDs are used to manage subscription access and prevent fraud.
- Purchase History: We track which premium features you have unlocked to ensure they are available across your devices.
- Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance metrics (e.g., download speeds) help fix bugs and optimize the app for iOS.
- Anonymous Analytics: General usage patterns (e.g., button taps) help me improve the app interface.
3. App-Specific Data Collection
Certain apps may require specific hardware access to function:
- Location Services: Where an app uses location, how it's handled depends on the app — some process location locally on your device only, while others (such as Grass ID, described below) send approximate location to a processing partner to improve results. Check the app-specific section below for details on the app you're using.
- Local Network: Used only in apps that require interaction with local files or nearby devices (like Minecraft world importing).
- Camera & Photos: Apps that identify objects from a photo (such as Grass ID) require camera or photo library access to let you capture or select an image to scan.
4. AI-Powered Identification (Grass ID)
Grass ID uses artificial intelligence to identify grass and plant species from photos you provide. Specifically:
- Photos: When you scan a photo, it is sent to our AI processing partner, OpenAI, solely to generate an identification result. Your photo is not stored by OpenAI beyond processing that request, and is not stored on our servers.
- Approximate Location: If you grant location permission, your approximate location is sent along with your photo to help match results to species common in your area. Location is used only to process that request and is not stored on our servers.
- Follow-Up Questions: If you ask a follow-up question about a result, that question — and your photo again, so the AI can refer to it — are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer.
- Content Moderation: Photos and questions are automatically screened for inappropriate content before being processed, to keep the app safe to use.
- Scan History: Your past scans (photos and results) are saved locally on your own device only. I do not have access to this history, and it is removed if you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
- You'll be asked to consent to this AI processing the first time you use the identification feature, before any photo is sent anywhere.
5. Advertisements (AdMob)
Some apps display ads. These are provided by Google AdMob:
- AdMob may collect Advertising IDs (IDFA) to show relevant ads.
- You can opt-out of personalized tracking via the "App Tracking Transparency" prompt on iOS.

6. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
For apps offering premium features via subscription:
- Payment Processing: All payments are handled securely by Apple. I never see or store your credit card or bank details.
- Subscription Management: I use RevenueCat to verify your purchase status. This uses an anonymous ID to confirm if your subscription is active.
- Restore Purchases: You can always restore your purchases on any device linked to your Apple ID.
Subscription Terms (Auto-Renewal):
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time after purchase.

My apps are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If any such data is found, it is deleted immediately.
